How much will I pay for childcare services?

Family fees, if applicable, are determined based on eligibility requirements and the annual income table set by the California Department of Education. At enrollment, an assigned caseworker will help families determine if a monthly fee will be assessed. If it is determined at enrollment that a family must pay a fee, Kids 1st Learning Center offers multiple ways for families to submit payment including online credit card payment, money order, and exact cash payment at the center (personal checks will NOT be accepted). Fees must be paid by the 8th of each month. For cash and money order payments, an appointment is required..

Do you work with CCRC?

Kids 1st Learning Center is not affiliated and does not work with CCRC

Do the children need to be potty trained?

Children enrolled in our preschool programs (aged 3-5) must be potty trained. Children in our toddler and infant programs do not need to be potty trained; families must provide their own diapers. Children enrolled in our toddler programs who will transition to our preschool program must be potty trained by that time (by their 3rd birthday).

Do I need to be working to qualify?

To enroll in full-day preschool, toddler, or infant care programs, families must meet income eligibility requirements as well as need-based eligibility requirements. Examples of need-based requirements may include being employed, currently seeking employment, studying full or part-time, and other needs determined by the California Department of Education. To enroll in our half-day preschool programs, families must meet income eligibility requirements only; need-based requirements are not considered. Please submit our online application, and a caseworker will contact you regarding your family’s eligibility.
