Teaching Openings

 

Lead Teacher

Teachers are at the heart of Kids 1st programs. Our teachers value childcare and understand the importance of education at every age. Our teachers are trained to develop stimulating lesson plans and engage children in a fun, safe educational environment. Our teachers work individually with their site supervisors to create a professional development plan to ensure growth in their careers.

Associate Teacher

Associate teachers directly support their lead teachers in child care, classroom prep, creating lesson plans, and documenting the children’s growth and development. Mentorship is fundamental to the success of the teaching staff at Kids 1st. Associate teachers work directly with their lead teachers and site supervisors with the goal of becoming full-fledged lead teachers themselves.


Administrative Openings

Administrative Assistant

Administrative assistants fulfill a variety of roles to provide necessary support for our program administrators. Some examples of tasks include time tracking, record keeping, file management, and other general office work. Our assistants are organized, adaptable, and constantly learning. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to meet the agency’s goal of providing excellent care to the community.


Operations Openings

 
 

Site Supervisor

Site supervisors are passionate about educating children, empowering their teaching staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of their centers. Site supervisors work with teachers to develop age-appropriate curriculum as well as professional development plans. Supervisors must have excellent communication skills, interacting with staff, families, and licensing authorities on an ongoing basis.

Assistant Supervisor

Assistant supervisors work closely with the site supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the center. Assistant supervisors must have excellent communication skills, often serving as the point of contact between site supervisor, parents, and teaching staff. Assistant supervisors will also help with enrollments, case management, and completing administrative matters in a timely fashion.
